Grimaldi and Silverstream: a partnership that creates value for the planet

On 23 May, a team of representatives from Silverstream Technologies visited the Grimaldi Group headquarters in Naples to meet in person after a long absence due to the pandemic.

In attendance from the London-based cleantech company was Founder & CEO Noah Silberschmidt, and Cruise & Ferry Segment Programme Director Jon Wheeler. Grimaldi Group Managing Director Emanuele Grimaldi, Corporate Short Sea Shipping Commercial Director Guido Grimaldi, Head of the Energy Saving & Innovation Department Dario Bocchetti and Energy Saving & Innovation Project Manager Alberto Portolano were pleased to welcome them.

Silverstream and Grimaldi have been in partnership since 2018, when the shipping group decided to install Silverstream’s market-leading air lubrication technology, the Silverstream® System, on board its state-of-the-art GG5G class vessels to improve their efficiency performance.
