Maritime Executive: What Should You Look For When Considering Maritime Clean Tech?

The International Maritime Organization (IMO) recently pledged to respond to industry concerns over the criteria and implementation of its Carbon Intensity Indicator (CII) rating system after the review process is completed this year. With this in mind, maritime executives should expect CII to become even more influential as enforcement mechanisms and unintended consequences are addressed, writes our Chief Technologist, David Connolly for the Maritime Executive.

With key decisions on decarbonisation pending, David also writes about the factors ship owners should consider when installing clean technologies to their fleet, and outlines why Silverstream Technologies is increasingly seen as a partner of choice for the shipping industry.
