Tarek Farag

Tarek joined Silverstream in 2021 as Sales Excellence Lead, responsible for managing and continuously improving our engagement with customers by identifying the values we deliver and maximising the ease of doing business with Silverstream. A large part of Tarek’s role involves research, analysis, and process improvement through customer management.

Prior to this, Tarek was at leading engineering consultancy, GHD, where he was an advisor on logistics and infrastructure projects. Tarek has also worked with UK Government and other port and logistics stakeholders to unlock value out of existing assets or assist in the delivery of new assets. He has worked with the likes of HMM, MSC, and DP World London Gateway – the UK’s newest and most technologically advanced container port and logistics park – where he supported the commercial growth and transition from start-up to key market player. 

Tarek has an MSc in Accounting and Financial Economics from the University of Essex, and has studied with the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, as well as the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.
