Stuart Newman

Stuart joined Silverstream in 2021 as Product Support Manager, following a career spanning 18 years in the commercial marine sector. Stuart started his career at an industry leader in marine electronics, data interfacing and re-transmission systems and later saw the development and introduction of voyage data recorders to the market.

Since 2014, he has specialised in onboard data collection involving managing, designing and deploying cloud-connected data acquisition solutions for vessel performance monitoring on multiple fleets. This role led to him becoming a technical specialist, offering advice to a government funded project helping the commercial marine shipping industry understanding the benefits of investing in fuel-efficient technologies.
