Oliver Woodard

Oliver joined Silverstream as Technical Sales Manager in 2021. Specialising in the merchant vessel segment, he is responsible for helping owners navigate the complex landscape to achieve their vessel efficiency ambitions.

Following a six year career in the oil and gas industry, he brings a broad range of experience to the business, underpinned by account management, chartering and vessel operations roles at ExxonMobil. Leveraging experiences with an energetic and collaborative approach, he is experienced at solving complex problems by finding win-win solutions. 

Oliver from graduated from Newcastle University with a master’s degree in Naval Architecture. In 2019 he was the recipient of the ExxonMobil President’s Standard of Business Excellence Award for his creative chartering solutions in connection to the rollout 0.5%S VLSFO across Europe. He also oversaw operations for the world’s highest bio-content fuel oil blend at the time. Oliver’s enthusiasm for improving shipping’s GHG footprint continues at Silverstream today.
