Jon Wheeler

Jon joined Silverstream in 2019 as Programme Director with responsibility for business development of Silverstream's cruise and ferry segment. Jon has worked in the marine industry for over 25 years, for a number of multinational engineering companies including GE, L-3 Communications/Sam Electronics, Converteam & Alstom and also spent time working in start-ups at key stages of their development. He now covers the role of Customer Success Director.

He has held senior leadership roles in bids and proposals, project management, business management and fleet management. Jon has gained significant experience in all facets of international electrical and mechanical engineering projects, with a large proportion of these being on electric propulsion, power generation, vessel automation and dynamic positioning systems across merchant, offshore, subsea and naval segments.

Jon is a Chartered Engineer, a member of the IET and is Certified by the Association of Project Management.
