Chen Shenglan

Chen Shenglan joined Silverstream in 2022 as Project Manager. Prior to this, she worked at a multinational ship design company in a project management role, managing ship design projects from the beginning of the contractual design stage to the basic design stage, as well as coordinating ship model testing with HSVA.

Chen Shenglan has over 10 years’ experience in the shipbuilding industry in one of the biggest shipyards in China. As a naval architect engineer, she has mananged the design and delivery of several types of bulk carriers, and chemical and oil tankers too. Chen Shenglan has a wealth of experience in coordinating general arrangement plans, performing stability part calculations and manuals, managing inclining tests, and overseeing sea trials and ship model tests, both in China and abroad.

Chen Shenglan graduated from HuaZhong University of Science and Technology with a BEng in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering. She holds an MBA in Business Management from Shanghai International Studies University, and the certificate of Senior Engineer in the shipbuilding industry.
