Andy Mason

Andy joined Silverstream in 2021 as Lead Marine Engineer. He arrived from a senior naval engineer position at BMT, an industry leading design and engineering company. In this role he was most recently responsible for securing and leading integration and retrofit engineering projects, specifically in the commercial marine sector.

In his 10 years within the marine industry Andy has worked on a wide range of engineering projects across the naval and commercial sectors. These include newbuild auxiliary and ancillary systems design, additional and alternations packages for RFA and naval vessels, HVAC system design and integration (newbuild and retrofit), and leading worldwide surveys culminating in the integration engineering of ballast water treatment systems across a broad spectrum of platforms.

Andy graduated from Cardiff University in 2012 with a first-class MEng degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is a Chartered Engineer with the Institute of Mechanical Engineers.
