It’s great to share the news that I will be joining Silverstream Technologies as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to manage the company’s exponential growth and oversee its expansion across Asia and Europe, whilst also seeking new avenues for commercial success. It is a really exciting time to join the company, as it recently surpassed £100 million in cumulative order intake. I will bring all of my 16 years’ experience in commercial and engineering roles to bear in helping Silverstream at this point in its scaling journey.
As I start working with the talented and committed team at Silverstream, our key focus will remain on supporting customers through their transition to net zero. I believe that this will rely on us continuing to develop collaborative partnerships with other like-minded entrepreneurial and innovation-focused organisations. Growing our community of partners will therefore play a pivotal role in our strategy.
Operationally, I am ready to support and engage with the positive culture in the business and weave further resilience into Silverstream’s organisational design, systems and processes to support continued growth. Overall, I look forward to developing Silverstream’s retrofit offering, continuing to mature our supply chain and competencies, and developing our sales channels to inspire widespread and sustainable adoption of our solution. Our ultimate goal will remain that we always ensure the wide-reaching and short lead-time availability of our market-leading air lubrication technology.
I am very excited for this new challenge and truly believe that we will be able to achieve our goal of air lubrication as a standard on vessels across the global fleet in the near future. As we continue to focus on reaching this goal, we will not only address the urgent need for regulatory compliance, but also allow our customers to future-proof their fleets, protect their investments, and operate profitably in this highly competitive market.
