Shipping Watch – MSC buys air bubble system for 30 of the company’s coming container vessels

Container carrier MSC has entered an agreement to install air bubble technology on 30 of the carrier’s coming container vessels.

MSC can save upwards of 1.6 million tonnes of CO2 as well as fuel savings of EUR 257.5 million annually using the Silverstream System developed by Silverstream Technologies.
